Pacific Environment

Collaboration and partnerships are what make Greengrants function. Our regional advisors, our global network advisor organizations, and our donors are all part of a who we are. In addition to all of these great partnerships, we’d like to specifically recognize Pacific Environment for its contributions to and collaborations with our programs.

From the beginning, a special relationship with Pacific Environment enabled Greengrants programs in China and Russia to take off and flourish. The organization’s capacity-building programs and on-the-ground trainings in those countries have been strategically paired with Greengrants grants to benefit grassroots groups. In fact, in China, a majority of those involved in the growing environmental movement credit their success to one or both of our organizations. For many years, we shared the time of Wen Bo, our Coordinator in China. Many thanks to Pacific Environment; we encourage you to learn more about this like-minded colleague organization.
