Purpose: To support and sustain the diverse types of taro found in the Cook Islands by setting up a genetic bank of varieties that are native to Pukapuka and Nassau. The group will conduct field trips to a number of islands and consult and recruit farmers interested in planting different varieties in their taro plots.

Purpose: To conduct clean up and restoration activities in the "Peace Garden," located within the grounds of the Cook Islands Library and Museum. The garden is a place for hosting local youth education events, such as reading programs and cultural celebrations.

Purpose: To support the Te Akatauria Competition at local schools to promote environmental awareness on the importance of sustainable practices, to enhance the artistic ability of the Rarotonga children, and to encourage and promote the use of recyclable and reusable materials to make jewelry and build awareness of business skills utilized in jewelry sales.

Purpose: To enable secondary and primary school children in the area to initiate native tree planting projects around their respective schools. These projects will teach students about different species of native trees, their uses, and how to plant and care for them.

Purpose: To conduct soil testing on the organic farms in Takitumu District, where the soils are mostly volcanic and lack certain elements for growth. It is important to conduct thorough soil analysis in order not to spend money on expensive and ineffective fertilizers, but to add exact missing elements; results will be distributed to local farmers through regular meetings.

Purpose: To promote the use of eco-friendly bags and packaging as an alternative to plastic bags. The organization will raise awareness on the issue through a local media campaign, distribute information materials, and provide environmentally-friendly bags to women in Rarotonga and other designated islands.

Purpose: To hold a series of workshops on organic farming techniques; the first six workshops will be led by the organization and the second six will be led by the workshop participants. This organization seeks to promote sustainable fisheries and organic farming in the Takitumu District.

Purpose: To fund travel and equipment costs for a program of environmental education for schoolchildren and adults on Rarotonga and elsewhere in the Cook Islands.

Purpose: To support the student diary program for 2003 by funding printing, distribution, prizes and the development of new materials on recycling, energy conservation and other environmental themes.
