Purpose: To develop an 'Education for Conservation' initiative for Mantani village to improve livelihoods, educate about the importance of marine conservation, and provide resources for key village improvements. This first project the group will accomplish is a new library for the school.

Purpose: To enable indigenous rights activists in Sarawak to document ongoing conflicts between indigenous peoples and the expanding palm oil sector. Activists will collect testimonies and assemble information about the 60-plus cases filed in the courts that dispute oil palm company land possession; the findings will be presented in Singapore at the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
