Purpose: To highlight the risks of endocrine disruptors to human and environmental health. The group will address national UK, European, and global policy that governs their use, as well as engage with the medical community, researchers, and the public in order to oppose the chemical industry. They will support and provide information to other international NGOs working on related issues to expand the international campaign to regulate and end the chemicals' use.

Purpose: To protect human and environmental health throughout Europe by strengthening restrictions and knowledge around endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). It will engage public participation through published materials and a virtual forum in addition to helping European Union representatives develop EDC policies.

Purpose: To protect environmental and human health, particularly of youth, from pesticides and biocides in Bulgaria. The group will raise awareness of the dangers of pesticides and propose amendments to existing legislation that will reduce youth exposure by requiring kindergartens, schools, and colleges to adopt low-input pest control methods, like organic practices, in their gardens. The group will also print and distribute leaflets and posters with facts and figures on pesticides in public areas.

Purpose: To promote systematic change in Bulgaria's current waste management practices in an effort to develop sustainable alternatives. The group will emphasize waste prevention, reuse, recycling, and incineration-free disposal at local, national, and international levels.

Purpose: To improve the quality of life and protect the environment of residents surrounding the Agrokor pig farm. Despite facility improvements, the farm emits massive amounts of ammonia and methane, which are affecting the local population. The group will pressure the company's investors, aid citizens with trainings in active citizenship, and prepare material to submit under the environmental permit processes.

Purpose: To eliminate the use and release of harmful chemicals in the Czech Republic and to promote public participation in the legislative processes related to toxic pollution. This "Toxics Free Future" campaign will include efforts to coordinate with other like-minded organizations locally and throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

Purpose: To introduce the zero waste concept to national decision makers in Hungary and attempt to influence the European Union prescribed national waste prevention plan. The Waste Reduction Alliance will spread the zero waste message by partnering with other non-governmental organizations, initiating media campaigns in four municipalities, and organizing a variety of public outreach campaigns.

Purpose: To stop the construction of the Lukovo Pole hydropower project in the Mavrovo National Park. The group will raise awareness and network with nongovernmental organizations and community members. It will collaborate on an independent analysis and advocate against the project to governmental agencies and the World Bank.

Purpose: To preserve the rural cultural and natural heritage of the region by promoting traditional gardening and farming. The group will publish a catalogue detailing the history and value of native flower gardens and organic farming, as well as showcasing local farmers' voices and gardens. The free catalogue will be distributed with packets of local flower seeds.

Purpose: To participate in an annual meeting of representatives of First Nations from British Columbia and across Canada. The group will network at the local, national, and international level, and collaborate with other groups on the adoption and implementation of the group's conservation plan in Canada.

Purpose: To bring awareness to national and international policies about the unique value-add of indigenous-led conservation of natural resources. The consortium will attend the annual meeting of the British Columbia Parks and Protected Areas Research Forum to promote indigenous participation.

Purpose: To research and promote pest control practices that reduce the use of pesticides for biofuel crops in Ukraine. The group will conduct an awareness campaign with data gathered from biofuel farms about the benefits of non chemical methods like crop rotation, phytosanitary measures, and cultural control.

Purpose: To fight the prevalence of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) and propose alternatives at the national, EU, and global levels. The group will provide expert opinions to UK and EU officials and produce 5 reports that highlight the evidence of EDCs' risks to wildlife and human health. The research will include links between issues like breast cancer or reproductive health and the presence of EDCs.

Purpose: To promote the sustainability of caught or farmed fish in the restaurant industry. Following their success in the United Kingdom, the group plans to expand their work to the United States and provide ratings of a restaurant's sustainability to both consumers and restaurants. The group will partner with organizations like the Monterey Bay Aquarium and use scientific data to provide ratings and feedback to restaurants.

Purpose: To network and raise awareness about the environmental and human danger of endocrine disruptors used by the chemical industry. The organization will partner with researchers and the medical community, and share reports with the public to support the international campaign to regulate the disruptors' use.

Purpose: To develop a sustainable and healthy environment through capacity building, public participation in decision-making processes, and consultation with civil society and governmental entities. Funds will be used to conduct a series of events for volunteer activists to develop knowledge and skills on how to monitor international financial institutions through internships, “in house” programs and open lessons.

Purpose: To support a campaign against waste incineration and promote sustainable waste and chemicals management. The organization will implement a two year program, creating and educating a network of non-governmental organizations, creating a Toxic Activist's guidebook, and starting an international campaign against waste incineration.

Purpose: To develop standards related to genetically modified organisms (GMOs), toxic substances, and water quality in European and other international standardization bodies. Funds will be used to test for water pollutants, ensure GMO testing methods are maintained, and try to eliminate flame retardants from use in televisions.

Purpose: To increase knowledge about and publicize the relationship between chemicals and disease as well as promote increased chemical regulation in Belgium. Funds will be used to build a virtual forum between scientists and policy makers in order to address the usage of endocrine disrupting chemicals, produce and publish informational materials, and collaborate with European Union representatives to create policies about these specific chemicals

Funds will be used to persuade institutions, specifically the Ministry of Economy, to provide an environmental assessment of the hydropower plans, which will provide information on the environmental impacts of the project and allow for citizen comment.

Purpose: To implement initiatives regarding pesticide contamination in food and water supplies in Macedonia. The group will analyze loopholes in current Macedonian regulation regarding pesticides and biocides; promote the use of existing documentation on highly hazardous pesticides by government officials and medical and agricultural experts; identify acute or chronic health impacts of pesticides, and raise public awareness on the dangers of pesticides and biocides.

Purpose: To highlight nonviolent approaches to resisting Shell's activities in the Niger Delta since the campaign has recently turned violent. Funds will be used to help with the production of a documentary on the life of Ken Saro Wiwa, an Ogoni activist who was hanged in 1995, along with eight other activists, by the military government.

Purpose: To promote traditional flower gardens and farming methods and preserve biodiversity in rural Poland. The organization will catalogue decorative plants that are currently at risk of extinction, share methods of good soil quality generation in communities, and draw attention to protection of rural natural heritage.

Purpose: To organize organic farmers and improve community-supported agriculture programs in the area. This project will promote the concept of community-supported agriculture through community awareness and education campaigns and events.

Purpose: To combat climate change by changing approaches to the food system worldwide. The organization will engage and empower small farmers and promote awareness of the connection between food production and climate change. Additionally, the group will attend networking events in Africa, Asia, and Latin America hosted by their local partners.

Purpose: To promote development of public ecological movement in the Odessa region and in the Ukraine through public outreach, education and awareness campaigns, and collaboration with local and regional mass media. Funds will be used to facilitate a conference on the development of ecotourism in the Odessa region and in the south of the Ukraine.

Purpose: To ensure that environments and peoples are protected from the impacts of dangerous chemical usage by improving Community-Based Monitoring of illegal pesticide use, advertising, and labeling. Funds will support a workshop for 25 participants from Ukraine and other Central and Eastern European countries.

Purpose: To utilize the impact of business investment and initiatives to promote sustainability and conservation of natural resources. The organization will help investors incorporate goals and criteria based on ecological resilience in their investment strategies. They will also fund the production of a "white paper" on the roles of investment capital on resource protection, and host three workshops in London, Rio de Janeiro, and New York. Additionally, they will participate in the annual conference of Confluence Philanthropy and present the "Resilience Investing" agenda.

Purpose: To conduct a public awareness campaign throughout the country by creating a website (www.klimapondryshon.com), and by distributing 1,000 promotional cloth bags. The group will also create an awareness campaign on carbon dioxide leakage from large international corporations.

Purpose: To support the organization's Cyanide-Free Bulgaria campaign. The campaign targets cyanide use in gold mining and will use funds to challenge court rulings, file an official complaint, build public awareness, push to end the financial support of mines that use cyanide, and work on a legislative ban of cyanide in gold mining.

Purpose: To support Friends of the Earth Bulgaria's contribution to the development of the country's National Action Plan for the reduction and sustainable use of pesticides, in accordance with the European Union’s Pesticides Framework Directive. Activities include a public awareness campaign to highlight the potential health impacts of even low levels of pesticide residues in food, and stakeholder meetings that will include at least two major supermarket chains.

Purpose: To support zero waste approaches as alternatives to conventional incineration, co-incineration, and landfills. Funds will support the organization's Zero Waste for Bulgaria program in its efforts to build capacity among local community groups working on waste issues and to initiate alternative waste management pilot projects.

Purpose: To promote regional cooperation and collaboration among the many nonprofits in the Czech Republic focused on chemical safety and waste management issues. The group works to prevent toxic pollution; restore the natural landscape of Czech lands; eliminate the use and release of persistent organic pollutants and mercury; encourage public participation in legislative processes; and promote environmental health.

Purpose: To support collaborative efforts to oppose the construction of new waste incinerators or the establishment of municipal solid waste incineration power plants in Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, or Slovakia. Additionally, the organization will assist local governments and institutions that have expressed interest in Zero Waste projects and the inclusion of zero waste practices in regional waster management plans.

Purpose: To create sustainable income opportunities and improve local nutrition by planting roughly 500 walnut trees in communities in northern Moldova. The iodine-rich walnuts will address local health problems caused by lack of iodine, while trees will also offer a buffer against soil erosion and mitigate climate change.

Purpose: To publish a booklet entitled Nuclear Energy: The Way to Exit, which was originally issued by the French Network, Sortir du Nucleaire. The organization also works to present a critical analysis of nuclear energy to the Polish general public by conducting lectures; organizing public meetings; collaborating with mass media; and providing professional audio and video presentations.

Purpose: To translate and distribute a guide on pesticides and toxics in everyday products and their alternatives to consumers in Slovenia. Funds will also support the organization's participation at Pesticide Action Network Europe's Annual Conference in Brussels.

Purpose: To eliminate the significant adverse effects of chemicals on human health and the environment. Funds will support the development of international chemical safety policies, promote the implementation of chemical safety activities and agreements--especially in developing and transitioning economies--and build the Toxics-Free Future movement.

Purpose: To provide general support to the following strategic program areas: 1) further development of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants and other international chemical safety policies; 2) promoting robust and participatory implementation of the Stockholm Convention and other agreements, especially in developing countries; 3) building and broadening the Toxics-Free Future movement. The organization seeks to eliminate the significant adverse effects on human health and the environment caused by chemicals and persistent organic pollutants.

Purpose: To educate children about climate change in the Donetsk Region of the Ukraine. Funds will organize a training seminar for school teachers; each teacher will receive a packet with curriculum materials on climate change.

Purpose: To address local climate change issues across Ukraine by organizing a national seminar entitled Saving Energy to Save the Climate. Participants will learn about energy efficient practices for both individuals and communities.

Purpose: To support leaders of non-governmental organizations to participate in an Energy Efficiency Conference, in May 2010, with other organizational leaders, government officials, and the public. The organization promotes the development of public ecological movements in the Zaporozhye region through information and awareness campaigns, research, networking, and the publication of environmentally-focused materials.

Purpose: To support a campaign aimed at raising public awareness about the environmental impacts of a coal thermo-power plant at Porto Romano in Durres. Activities include distributing reports, posters, leaflets, and newspaper supplements about the project in an effort to engage communities in the Environmental Impact Assessment process and stimulate debate about other unsustainable energy projects in the country.

Purpose: To analyze Belarus' compliance with the Food and Agriculture Organization's International Code of Conduct on the Distribution and Use of Pesticides. The organization will share the findings of the analyses with organizations and government agencies and raise public awareness about the environmental impacts of pesticide use in the agricultural sector.

Purpose: To promote effective implementation of the European Union's (EU) new chemical management legislation and improve knowledge on chemicals and diseases so as to reduce the science-policy lag time between new information and its incorporation in the new EU policy. Specifically, the organization will build its coalition and raise consumer awareness of the health impacts of chemicals.

Purpose: To promote civil society participation in the development of a National Action Plan for Sustainable Use of Pesticides. Specifically, the organization will work to ensure that the human health and environmental risks associated with pesticides are effectively addressed in Bulgaria's National Action Plan.

Purpose: To support the organization's Zero Waste for Bulgaria program and build capacity among nonprofits and community groups working to oppose incineration and co-incineration, as well as landfills. Additional activities include leading small pilot projects to demonstrate the potential of these alternative waste management approaches.

Purpose: To develop three projects focused on chemical safety and waste management issues with participation from non-governmental organizations from at least eight Central and Eastern European countries. Activities include support of the group's campaign to eliminate toxics by targeting Council of the European Union policymaking.

Purpose: To support a campaign against uranium mining in Bataszek. The group will bring local stakeholders to mining sites in the Czech Republic to witness the impacts that uranium mining can have.

Purpose: To register the first non-governmental organization network for action on climate issues in Macedonia and ensure its sustainability. Additional activities include creating a network strategy for advocacy, and organizing four national meetings.

Purpose: To raise public awareness about the human health and environmental impacts of the use of pesticides in Romania. Additional activities include hosting a website that provides information about Romanian pesticide legislation and pesticide impacts as related to marine ecosystems, as well as collecting data on pesticide use and enforcement of pesticide-related legislation.

Purpose: To lead the Action Plan of Sustainable Pesticide Usage, recent European Union-wide legislation on pesticide management. Specifically, the organization will work to bring together groups organized around health, organic farming, and consumer protection, to collect relevant information on the current situation in Slovenia.

Purpose: To monitor the implementation of an Environmental Action Plan for The ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih metallurgical complex, which is responsible for about 60% of local air, water and land pollution. Additionally, funds will be used to strengthen the influence of local communities by involving them and nongovernmental organizations in public disclosure and consultation.

Purpose: To publish and distribute a journal, which aims to raise awareness about nature preservation throughout the Ukraine and will be used as an educational resource for summer youth camps and local ecology teachers. The organization works to create and implement programs for studying and preserving local natural resources, conducting public outreach, and collaborating with local mass media.

Purpose: To support activities aimed at the creation of the Dnister Canyon National Park by collaborating with local government, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, scientists, and nonprofits. These dialogues will determine which parts of the Canyon landscape are to be preserved by the park.

Purpose: To conduct a survey and analysis of the economic and social impacts of the Vodokanal municipal wastewater treatment project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The organization will publish and disseminate the results of the assessment in an effort to enhance community influence on environmental decisions in the Zaporozhe region.

Purpose: To publish a booklet on the negative impacts of nuclear power and the proposed construction of nuclear facilities in Ukraine. Specifically, the booklet will provide answers to frequently asked questions about nuclear energy, such as how power stations work and where and how uranium is extracted.

Purpose: To conduct a survey that assesses current attitudes towards pesticides in the Ukrainian states of Kyiv, Poltava, and Sumu oblasts, gauging local knowledge of pesticide-related concerns and organizing community-based monitoring programs targeting misuse of pesticides and fertilizers. Survey results will be used to advocate for more effective enforcement of the Food and Agriculture Organization Code of Conduct among Ukrainian governmental agencies.

Purpose: To create a series of publications that highlight environmental issues and their solutions in the Zaporozhe region as well as the work of the Khortitsky Forum, Ukraine's largest network of environmental non-governmental organizations. Additional activities include distributing the publications throughout the network, and creating a website for the organization.

Purpose: To launch a pilot waste management project in the Igren District following the closure of a dump/landfill in the area. The organization will develop a community education program on waste management and recycling, distribute information on these issues throughout the District, and establish a working group for project implementation and ongoing monitoring.

Purpose: To fund the 'Better Information-Better Decisions' campaign, which aims to education the people of Vlora about the socio-environmental impacts of energy and industrial development projects. Activities include publishing and distributing a bi-weekly newsletter on this issue.

Purpose: For on-going support of the Chemical Health Monitor Project, which aims to reduce of the use of hazardous chemicals that pose a risk for human health. Activities include creating awareness around the impacts of toxic chemicals, expanding its online resources, and holding a forum on European Union policies relating to chemicals and human health.

Purpose: To produce a brochure about the risks associated with pesticide use and promoting alternatives. The brochure will focus on key issues that should be included in Bulgaria's European Union-mandated National Action Plan on pesticides.

Purpose: To oppose the construction of a second nuclear power plant in the rural town of Belene on the Danube River border with Romania; the proposed site is a sensitive wetland area and an earthquake zone. A coalition will be formed of mayors, Parliamentarians and other influential people who oppose the project; the coalition will present the project risks to the European Commission, which must make a recommendation to the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development next year on whether to finance the project.

Purpose: To educate policymakers and the public about the importance of sustainable urban development in Zagreb. The group will publish and distribute a newsletter about citizen action and civil society participation in urban space policy-making.

Purpose: To continue its campaign against a solid waste incinerator and landfill site under planning in Zagreb. The campaign focuses on challenging financial support for the project from the European Investment Bank.

Purpose: To lead a regionally-coordinated campaign against persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and increase non-governmental organization participation in the network. The organization will work to implement the Stockholm and Basel Conventions and increase awareness of the need to eliminate POPs.

Purpose: For continued support of the effort to stop the stop incinerator proponents from rewriting Europe's waste regulations to their advantage. The group will work in conjunction with Global Anti-Incinerator Alliance (GAIA) and International POPs Elimination Network (IPEN)-Europe to use this opportunity to reframe the Waste Framework Directive to incorporate better solutions to waste management problems.

Purpose: To support a Zero Waste campaign in collaboration with GAIA, Healthcare Without Harm, and the European Environmental Bureau. The goal is to oppose the construction of new incinerators and prevent the transport of waste into Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia.

Purpose: To enable this group to participate in the Annual Conference of Pesticide Action Network Europe. This association seeks to raise public awareness about the links between human health and the condition of the environment, with a special focus on toxics found in food and water.

Purpose: To support a campaign to declare three regions as genetically modified organism (GMO) -free zones. The organization will educate policy makers and the public about the consequences of GMOs on human and environmental health through radio spots, news articles, and informational leaflets.

Purpose: To design a publish a booklet for children about organic farming, traditional methods of food production, and rural Polish cultural heritage. This organization seeks to promote sustainable development in rural Poland.

Purpose: To analyze the potential socio-environmental impacts of regional hydro-technical projects, financed by the European Union and/or the European Investment Bank. The institute will publish and distribute its findings, and work with other Polish organizations to implement a monitoring initiative.

Purpose: To initiate two community-based programs to monitor pesticide producers, fertilizer dealers, farmers, and food shops. The monitoring program will assess to what degree these sectors are abiding by regulations.

Purpose: To build awareness about the negative impacts of uranium and gold mining and to provide opportunities for affected communities to strategize in developing an anti-mining campaign. This organization works to promote sustainable natural resource management throughout the country.

Purpose: To enable the organization to participate in the Water Tribune Conference EXPO 2008 held in Zaragoza, Spain. Specifically, the organization will present ideas outlined in the book "Water for the Recovery of the Climate - A New Water Paradigm," which evaluates the current dynamics between human and water systems and climate change, and aims to offer a more holistic approach to water resource management.

Purpose: To enable the organization to participate in the Annual Conference of Pesticide Action Network Europe. The focus of this group is to promote sustainable practices in agriculture, forestry, and conservation.

Purpose: To increase awareness about the risks associated with pesticide use. Activities include updating informative websites and preparing a National Action Plan for Pesticide Use Reduction.

Purpose: To create a website that discusses the benefits of organic farming and directs people to locations where organic food can be purchased. Additionally, the group will publish a report on the current status of organic farming to guide Slovenia's European Union-mandated National Action Plan on pesticide use.

Purpose: To reduce the use of stand-by electricity. Activities include an awareness-raising campaign, media outreach, and public events.

Purpose: To increase public awareness about the risks associated with nuclear power in light of a proposal to add a second reactor to a plant at Krsko. The goal is to mobilize public opposition to the proposal through information dissemination, roundtables, and public events.

Purpose: To promote the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization's Code of Conduct among the Newly Independent States, with the goal of encouraging sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and integrated pest management. The organization will develop implementation recommendations for the Code, which will be presented at an international pesticides forum.

Purpose: To conduct an evaluation of the new inspection agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection; and to hold a national conference of the All-Ukrainian Ecological Movement Khortitsky Forum, of which the organization is a member. At the conference, a set of recommendations will be developed to improve the accountability of the inspection agency.

Purpose: To raise awareness throughout the Donetsk region about the problems related to nuclear pollution. Also to hold a public hearing on the issue with participation from non governmental organizations, scientists, and the general public.

Purpose: To fund training sessions for Albanian civil society organizations interested in monitoring the activities of international financial institutions. The training sessions will focus on how to develop research skills, media relations programs, and linkages with likeminded organizations in Albania and overseas.

Purpose: To promote a toxic-free future for Belarus by campaigning against waste incineration. A team of local and regional non-governmental organizations will be created and trained so that they can effectively work on chemical and waste issues.

Purpose: To support the Chemical Health Monitor Project, which aims to reduce the harmful effects of hazardous chemicals on human health. Project activities include increasing available resources on health impacts, working in closer alliance with the transatlantic health and environment community, and designing a public awareness campaign about the harmful effects of toxic chemical exposure.

Purpose: To organize a national working group of non governmental organizations and concerned citizens who will work together to stop waste incineration and promote healthier alternative practices. A campaign plan will be created that will integrate research and publications, workshops and trainings, and production of public education materials.

Purpose: To implement an awareness-building campaign about the negative effects of pesticides on the environment and public health. Activities include maintaining an informative website and monitoring the implementation of European Union pesticide-related legislation throughout Bulgaria.

Purpose: To campaign against two International Financial Institution-financed (IFI) oil pipelines in the Black Sea region. Through community education regarding the negative impacts of oil traffic, the Institute plans to strengthen opposition to IFI funding of these projects.

Purpose: To campaign against a solid waste incinerator in Zagreb, which will threaten the environment and health of the surrounding neighborhoods. This organization's goal is to encourage public participation in decision making around issues that affect the quality of life for Croatian citizens.

Purpose: To protect the communities of Horni Jretin and Cernice from the negative impacts of coal mining. Activities include an awareness-building conference and the establishment of a permanent office for the organization.

Purpose: To stop the pro-incinerator lobby from rewriting Europe's waste regulations to their advantage. Health Care Without Harm Europe is part of an international coalition working to transform the healthcare industry worldwide so that it is ecologically sustainable and does not pose harm to people and the environment.

Purpose: To support this network of 17 non-governmental organizations in halting the current municipal solid waste incinerator projects in Hungary and promoting clean alternatives. Activities include increasing citizen awareness of the dangers of solid waste incinerators and the benefits of safer alternatives and monitoring European Union waste regulations.

Purpose: To increase public awareness of the negative impacts of pesticides on food and drinking water sources through an electronic publication. This federation is comprised of over 17 member organizations in Western Lithuania, including many voluntary groups, that provide information and advice about basic consumer issues.

Purpose: To fund various activities highlighting the impact of international financial institutions in Macedonia. Eco-sense plans to organize public seminars, hold a film festival, develop a website, and publish a variety of materials on the subject.

Purpose: To raise public awareness of the ecological and human benefits of organic agriculture, with a focus on youth. Activities will include workshops with local farmers, creating an informational brochure, and meeting with politicians to promote a national committee dedicated to reducing pesticide use.

Purpose: The mission of Environment-People-Law (EPL) is to promote the rule of law for the protection of the environment. This grant will support the right to public participation in environmental matters by working for positive outcomes in 4 or 5 SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) cases.

Purpose: To hold a workshop in environmental education methods for 30 leaders of Ukrainian environmental organizations. The Association unites members of the community to promote environmental awareness and involve youth in a variety of activities, including research, publicity campaigns, and environmental trips.

More specifically. the grant supports the writing, publishing and distribution of a critique of the current system of pesticide regulation and a set of suggestions on how the management of pesticides can be improved.

Purpose: National Movement "Priately na Zemiata" has been working on pesticide issues for the last three years. This grant enables them to send a representative to the PAN Europe Conference, which in turn will help them in their campaign to decrease pesticide use on local crops.

Purpose: To support the Tour of the Tomato, a traveling public awareness event that will make stops in many Bulgarian cities and towns. The purpose of the Tour is to raise awareness of genetically-modified organisms (GMO's) and other environment-related agricultural issues.

Purpose: Za Zemiata (For the Earth) aims to develop sustainable alternatives to socially and environmentally harmful activities. This grant supports opposition to international funding of the Strouma Motorway, which will interfere with the Kresna Gorge ecosystem.

Purpose: The Czech Ministry of Transport has requested a loan from the European Investment Bank to support road infrastructure projects, including one high-speed highway that would affect endangered species and damage an environmentally sensitive area. This grant will support work at local, national, and EU levels to oppose the project and propose alternative road locations.
