Purpose: To raise the Villa Pizarreño community awareness of the health and environmental damage they have been exposed to through asbestos. Incidence of illness and death due to asbestos is increased in this community, yet they have received no reparation from the government or responsible companies. The group intends to bring the community together with experts in a variety of related fields and victims from other communities to raise the issue's visibility, provide a space to share experiences, and to develop stronger relationships with like-minded institutions and organizations.
