Cameroon (Central Africa), like many countries in the Global South, is facing numerous development challenges. Samuel Nnah Ndobe, a member of Greengrants International Financial Institutions (IFI) Advisory Board,is an Agricultural Engineer with the Center for the Environment and Development (CED) in Cameroon. Samuel is one of many civil society actors working to protect Cameroon's environment, natural resources, and indigenous peoples. In this discussion with Chris Allan, Greengrants Director of Programs, we learn more about the risks involved when properly enforcing forestry laws, publishing reports that highlight the corrupt management of the forests, and managing projects to protect the rights of Pygmy hunter gathers.
