Dear Friend, I know it’s a cliché around Thanksgiving, but I can’t help but be thankful. In addition to having good health and a great family, I’ve seen Greengrants thrive in the last year. We will make 600 grants in 80 countries in 2006, and we are connecting our supporters to positive social change in some of the most critical – and most remote – areas of the world. In September, we organized our first donor trip. Some of the participants called it “life changing”. Check out the links below. Also, we have changed around our website a bit and added a "Breaking News" section that updates daily and a "Resources" page that has links to organizations and reading material that have been helpful to us here at Greeengrants. You’ll also find a great interview with Greengrants advisor Lucille Apis Overhoff, as well as a piece on Sakhalin and Greengrants’ role in that tenuous victory. Hope you find it all interesting. And many thanks to you, too. We’re honored to have so many friends and supporters. With best wishes, Greengrants' First Donor Trip

All participants were positive about the experience; some even called it "life changing." To read excerpts from Helen's journal... Sakalin II Project Suspended
