Greengrants’ Helen Gemmill recently traveled to South Africa for the Southern Africa Advisory Board meeting. During her trip she met with some of the leading activists in social and environmental justice in the region, participated in a protest, and was witness to a few of the many ways in which communities are coming together to press for a clean, healthy, and just
environment.
