Energy Justice (Conference Call Recording)

Last month, Greengrants hosted a Conference Call on Energy Justice, which explored how large-scale energy development projects are affecting communities around the world.

If you missed it, click here to listen to the full recording of the call. (You’ll also be able to access a prior interview on the topic of sustenance, as well as other articles and links if you would like to learn more.)

A huge thank you to our advisors—Nnimmo Bassey (West Africa), and Aviva Imhoff (International Rivers)—as well as to our Deputy Director of Programs, Peter Kostishack, for their contributions and time!

Keep an eye open for our next Conference Call—the Right to Water—scheduled for April. We’ll be discussing access to water, improving water quality, and stewarding water resources.

We aim to make these calls as relevant and engaging as possible and would love to hear your feedback as we continue to develop this program.

Global Greengrants Fund

Global Greengrants Fund believes solutions to environmental harm and social injustice come from people whose lives are most impacted. Every day, our global network of people on the frontlines and donors comes together to support communities to protect their ways of life and our planet. Because when local people have a say in the health of their food, water, and resources, they are forces for change.
