The Center for Socio-Environmental Support (CASA), the Brazilian member of the Greengrants Alliance of Funds, is supporting effective action and ways of life that are already making a difference. In Mozambique, Greengrants grantee Voices of the Zambezi and partner Justiça Ambiental have been organizing local communities and raising awareness about the environmental and socio-economic impacts of the proposed Mphanda Nkuwa Dam, located on the Zambezi River.
We are pleased to welcome Moses Kambou to the Greengrants West Africa Advisory Board. Moses is the Executive Director of the Organization for Capacity Building for Community Development (ORCADE) and a Professor of Languages, Arts and Communications at the University of Ouagadougou.
