New Services for Greengrants Donors, Combined Federal Campaign

New Donor Services

Conference calls

Greengrants has recently launched a series of conference calls to update its friends and supporters about current developments in the international environmental movement. In the first of these sessions, Chet spoke with philanthropic advisors and others about a general overview of our work. Future topics will include Greengrants and climate change, the role of using advisors to strengthen grantmaking, and intuition and grantmaking.

Please contact Helen Gemmill at helen@greengrants.org if you would like to be included in one of these phone calls.

Donor trips

Greengrants is also developing a series of tours to enable Greengrants supporters to see the work of some of our grantees.

The next available trip is planned to coincide with our biannual Advisors’ Retreat in Bali in March.

Please contact Helen Gemmill at helen@greengrants.org if you would like more information.

Greengrants Participates in the Combined Federal Campaign

Greengrants is fortunate enough to be included in the next Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which will start in September. That Campaign provides the opportunity for U.S. federal government employees throughout the world to contribute to charities of their choice. In 2005, contributions totaled more than $268,550,000.

Greengrants will be listed as part of a collection of nonprofit organizations called “Aid to Africa”, which is in its third year as a CFC participant. US federal employees can make a contribution specifically to Greengrants by using our CFC number: 9989.

Please contact us if you have any questions about the CFC.
