Greengrants has been a proud supporter of Baikal Environmental Wave since 2001. This citizen’s group works on a variety of fronts to protect Russia’s Baikal region, home to Lake Baikal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spectacular natural beauty. It is not easy to be an environmental activist in Russia, but that hasn’t stopped Marina and her colleagues!
