Join us and hear how courageous climate leader and Goldman Environmental Prize recipient “Mama” Aleta Baun is winning the fight against deforestation and illegal mining in West Timor, Indonesia. 
Women are on the front lines of climate change action and are essential to a growing global movement of activists taking a stand against the climate crisis. They are organizing protests to defend their land and expelling mining and oil companies from their forests. Together, we will discuss how investing in women’s climate initiatives will help combat climate change today and for future generations.
